Dear Amazing Students of Tom,
Today, I want to talk about something that may seem simple but is actually quite complex – “Living as your true self.” It sounds easy, but let’s be honest, this is one of the most challenging things we face in life. But don’t worry, let me guide you through it.
1. Understand Yourself: Who Are You, and Why Are You So Special?
Take some time to reflect on yourself. It might feel like a date with yourself, but trust me, it’s essential. Sit down, have a cup of coffee (or bubble tea if that’s more your style), and ask yourself: Who am I? What makes me happy and excited?
Don’t force yourself to be someone you’re not. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and that’s what makes you unique. I’m confident that once you truly understand yourself, you’ll know you’re on the right path and won’t be swayed by invisible pressures from the world around you.

2. Grow and Improve: You Don’t Need to Be a Superhero, Just Get Better Every Day
Living as your true self doesn’t mean settling for where you are. No, no, no! It means striving to become a better version of yourself every day. Two things I always remind myself: Always give everything your best, and never stop trying. In doing this, you’ll reach the goals you’ve set and achieve what you desire.
You don’t need to become a superhero overnight; just focus on small, consistent improvements. Learn from your mistakes (everyone makes them!), and remind yourself, Tomorrow, I will be better than today.
Remember, learning and growing your skills is the key to adding value to yourself. Your tomorrow depends on the knowledge you gain today!

3. Don’t Fear Being Different: Everyone Is an Original
We live in a world where people sometimes want you to fit into a predefined mold. But hey, who says you have to? Each person is an original version of themselves, and if you try to be like someone else, you’ll lose your essence.
I know that being different can sometimes feel isolating, but it’s that very uniqueness that makes you special. Don’t be afraid to express who you truly are; the people who care about you will love you for you, not for trying to be someone else.

4. Create a Positive Environment: A Place Where You Can Shine
Your environment greatly impacts how you think and act. Take a moment to reflect on the people around you. If someone is constantly pulling you down or making you feel negative, maybe it’s time to gently distance yourself.
Surround yourself with positive influences—people who energize you. Also, make your living space a place that recharges you. A cozy, uplifting space can make all the difference in your mindset.

5. Face Failure with Courage: Falling Down is Just Part of the Journey
Failure is not something to fear, my dear students. In fact, failure is a part of life and a stepping stone to growth. The key is to rise and keep going, not to stay down in regret.
Every fall teaches us something valuable. Embrace it as a lesson that brings you closer to your goals. I believe every one of you has the strength to overcome any challenge, as long as you don’t give up and trust yourself.

A Final Note:
Remember, living as your true self but being the best version of yourself is a beautiful journey. There will be times when it feels uncertain, but trust that each day is a new opportunity to improve, grow, and stay true to who you are.
Be brave, love yourself, and never stop trying. Life will be so much more meaningful when we embrace each moment of authenticity.
I’m here, cheering for you on this incredible journey to becoming the best version of you!
With love and support,
Tom
