Thứ Sáu, ngày 13/03/2026 (Black Friday).

Hôm nay là ngày nhiều người nơm nớp lo sợ xui xẻo. Thị trường biến động, khách hàng khó tính, deadline dồn dập… tất cả ập đến như một cơn bão. Nếu bạn đối diện với bão bằng sự cứng nhắc, giận dữ, chống đối… bạn sẽ gãy, giống như cây cổ thụ to lớn bị bật gốc. Người Việt mình có một bậc thầy về sinh tồn: Cây Tre. Tre dạy chúng ta 3 bài học kinh điển để “bất tử” trong sự nghiệp.

Hư Tâm (Rỗng ruột) để chứa đựng tất cả Thân tre bên ngoài thì cứng, nhưng bên trong lại rỗng. Người xưa gọi là “Hư Tâm” (Tâm rỗng). Trong công việc, cái chết nhanh nhất là cái Tôi (Ego) quá lớn. Khi bạn nghĩ mình biết hết rồi, bạn đặc ruột, không ai rót thêm được cái gì vào đầu bạn nữa. Người giỏi như Tre: Luôn giữ cho mình một cái đầu rỗng để lắng nghe, để học hỏi cái mới, và để chứa đựng những lời phê bình mà không tự ái. Càng rỗng, càng nhẹ. Càng nhẹ, càng vươn cao.

Nghệ thuật “Cúi đầu” (The Art of Bending) Khi gió bão ập tới, cây Tre làm gì? Nó không đứng im chịu trận. Nó Cúi xuống. Gió càng mạnh, tre càng cúi thấp. Gió qua rồi, tre lại bật dậy, xanh tươi như chưa từng có chuyện gì xảy ra. Đây gọi là sự Linh hoạt (Flexibility).

• Khách hàng đổi ý xoành xoạch? -> Ok, mình linh hoạt điều chỉnh plan (thay vì cãi tay đôi).
• Công ty thay đổi cơ cấu? -> Ok, mình học kỹ năng mới để thích nghi (thay vì ngồi than vãn). Cúi đầu không phải là hèn nhát hay luồn cúi. Cúi đầu là chiến lược bảo toàn lực lượng. Biết nhu biết cương đúng lúc mới là kẻ mạnh thực sự.

Không bao giờ đi một mình (The Clump) Bạn có bao giờ thấy cây tre mọc đơn độc không? Không. Tre luôn mọc thành bụi, thành lũy. Rễ tre đan vào nhau chằng chịt dưới lòng đất, tạo thành một khối kết cấu bê tông cốt thép tự nhiên mà không cơn bão nào nhổ lên được. “Tre già măng mọc”. Cây lớn che chở cây bé, cây bé đỡ đần cây lớn. Trong môi trường công sở hay kinh doanh, nếu bạn chơi trò “Sói cô độc” (Lone Wolf), bạn sẽ rất dễ bị đánh gục. Hãy xây dựng cho mình một “Lũy Tre”: Một team ăn ý, những người mentor tâm huyết, và những người bạn đồng hành tin cậy. Khi bạn ngã, rễ của đồng đội sẽ giữ bạn lại.

Lời nhắn Thứ Sáu: Hôm nay, dù có chuyện gì xui xẻo xảy ra (đúng chất thứ 6 ngày 13), hãy cười xòa. Hãy mềm mại như nước, dẻo dai như tre. Gió chiều nào, ta… nương theo chiều ấy (để sống, chứ không phải để xu nịnh). Kết thúc tuần làm việc căng thẳng, hãy tự thưởng cho mình một buổi tối thư giãn. Vì bão đã qua rồi, và ngày mai trời lại sáng.

Learning the Bamboo’s “Bow” to Stand Tall Amidst the Storm

Friday, March 13th, 2026 (Friday the 13th).

Today is the day many fear bad luck. Market fluctuations, difficult clients, piling deadlines… all hitting like a storm. If you face the storm with rigidity, anger, or resistance… you will break, just like a giant oak tree uprooted. We Vietnamese have a master of survival: The Bamboo. Bamboo teaches us 3 classic lessons to be “immortal” in our career.

Hollow Heart (“Hư Tâm”) to Hold Everything The bamboo stem is hard on the outside but hollow on the inside. The ancients called this “Hư Tâm” (Empty Heart/Mind). In work, the fastest death is a huge Ego. When you think you know it all, you are solid; no one can pour anything more into your head. Great people are like Bamboo: Always keeping an empty head to listen, to learn new things, and to contain criticism without taking offense. The hollower, the lighter. The lighter, the higher it grows.

The Art of Bending When the storm comes, what does the Bamboo do? It doesn’t stand still and take the hit. It Bows down. The stronger the wind, the lower the bamboo bows. Once the wind passes, the bamboo springs back up, green and fresh as if nothing happened. This is called Flexibility.

• Client changes their mind constantly? -> Ok, we flexibly adjust the plan (instead of arguing).
• Company restructuring? -> Ok, we learn new skills to adapt (instead of complaining). Bowing is not cowardice or groveling. Bowing is a strategy to conserve forces. Knowing when to be soft and when to be hard is true strength.

Never Walk Alone (The Clump) Have you ever seen a bamboo tree grow alone? No. Bamboo always grows in clumps, in groves. Bamboo roots interweave underground, creating a natural reinforced concrete structure that no storm can uproot. “Old bamboo ages, bamboo shoots rise.” The big trees protect the small ones; the small ones support the big ones. In the corporate or business environment, if you play the “Lone Wolf” game, you are easily defeated. Build yourself a “Bamboo Fortress”: A cohesive team, dedicated mentors, and reliable companions. When you fall, your teammates’ roots will hold you up.

Friday Note: Today, no matter what bad luck happens (true to Friday the 13th style), just laugh it off. Be soft like water, resilient like bamboo. Whichever way the wind blows, we… flow with it (to survive, not to be a sycophant). Ending a stressful work week, treat yourself to a relaxing evening. Because the storm has passed, and tomorrow the sky will be bright again.
